IIVA 2nd Annual SOCK ON Sock Drive
Benefitting Indiana’s Homeless Community

Donations Accepted: December 30, 2021 - February 18, 2022

Indiana’s live music venues have been fighting for their businesses, and live music in general, since the start of the pandemic. Thankfully, music venues have been fortunate to receive much needed support in the form of city, state and federal grants and loans. This has been a lifeline to help prop up our small businesses. IIVA and its members understand firsthand the importance of appreciating even the smallest act of kindness. With winter here, and so many residents in need, the music venues of Indiana are eager to give back and help our residents experiencing hard times. Lend a hand and show your support with something often taken for granted - a new pair of warm socks.

Indianapolis sock donations distributed by Horizon House, St. Vincent De Paul in Brown County, and yet-to-be named organization in Bloomington. Donations will directly support the communities in which they are collected.

BROWN COUNTY PARTNER
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

St. Vincent de Paul (Brown County) is an all volunteer not-for-profit, dedicated to the service of local families since 1988. We were started by members of Saint Agnes Catholic Church as a conference under the Indianapolis Council of SVdP, a 501(c)(3) organization. In 2021 fiscal year at least 233 volunteers, from Brown County and beyond, gave a combined total of more than 12,000 hours of service.

St. Vincent De Paul distributes through it’s "Client Choice Food Pantry" along with toiletries, clothing, housewares, appliances and furniture - all free of charge. Additionally, SVDP hosts pop-up pantries, allowing folks to drive up and receive prepackaged food items, quick and easy.

Our Back to School Program helps students prepare for the school year by giving out vouchers to purchase shoes and school supplies. We distribute Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas hams. The Christmas Celebration helps with Christmas gifts for children and grandchildren.
